Project Management
The Vital Group has a dedicated full-time Project Management Unit. The Unit works collectively to manage the areas of risks and challenges between strategic direction, project delivery and operational effectiveness.
For major works, we have a team of civil, electrical, and mechanical engineers, welders, blasters, and painters. As part of the business plan, we account for and allocate budgetary support to outsource work, where necessary, via sub-contractors. This is done following a precise screening process of potential sub-contractors, ensuring they are in compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.
We ensure contingency plans for each project in order to maintain business continuity and operational efficiency.
Overall, the Project Management Office (PMO) responsibilities enlist:
Identifying, developing and coordinating companywide program and project management Policy and best practice Standards and Procedures;
Managing the Enterprise Management Tool that supports both the projects and portfolio of project’s needs;
Identifying, coordinating, and managing the Project dependances of all projects, sub-projects within programs;
Providing project registering and start-up capability needed for new projects to the project team(s) and providing initial and ongoing forms and templates required,
Planning, designing, developing and or coordinating Project Team training,
Providing specific skillset that would be required by engagements with approved external resources;
Identifying and coordinating Project and Program resource allocations; and
Developing, managing, and customizing the project forms
