EQUIPMENT ISSUES AFFECT AVIATION REFUELING OPERATIONS IN CHUUK
Vital FSM Petroleum Corporation (Vital FSMPC) wishes to inform the public that we are currently experiencing technical difficulties with our aircraft refueling equipment in Chuuk. This issue has temporarily affected our ability to provide refueling services for United Airlines (UA) flights operating at that location.
The disruption in services is strictly limited to the refueling apparatus used for aircraft servicing. Our technical team is actively working on-site to complete troubleshooting, inspection, testing, and recommissioning to restore services as swiftly and safely as possible.
Our operations in Yap, Pohnpei, Kosrae, and Nauru remain unaffected and airline carriers may obtain additional fuel to support route requirements at these alternate airports. We will provide prompt notification once refueling capabilities in Chuuk are fully restored.
